Republic is the Walking Street club with the clearest independent scale marker. DJ Mag places it at #82 in the 2026 Top 100 Clubs, eight positions higher than the previous year, and lists capacity at 700. More useful than the number alone is the room description behind it: a ground-level dance floor, an upper mezzanine wrapping around the crowd below, a d&b Audiotechnik sound system and upgraded lighting and production.

That layout gives Republic two ways to experience the same night. The ground floor is the direct version, close to the sound and movement. The mezzanine offers an elevated view without turning the club into a separate lounge.

It suits visitors who choose a club by program, sound and a large dance floor, and groups who want one destination. Skip it when you want live music, a low-volume conversation or a night built around sampling five unrelated doors. Republic makes most sense when its calendar gives you a reason to stay.

The official booking page publishes table minimums from 5,000 THB for a four-person standing table through 30,000 THB for its top packages. The official drinks menu lists four named local beers at 180 THB at the regular rate and 160 THB at the VIP rate, and named standard cocktails at 280 THB. Republic sits at 131/4 Moo 10 on Soi JP in the Walking Street zone. Its role is not to reproduce the entire strip inside one building. It is the program-led anchor: a room you choose because the listed night, 700-person scale and two-level view fit the plan.

MYST is the closer comparison for a polished table night, but its declared centre is hip-hop and VIP positioning. 808 is easier to split between a terrace lounge and main club room.
